WHC Sales Consultant (Boise, ID) 

 

The Women’s Healthcare (WHC) Sales Consultant is accountable for implementing the sales strategies for approved Women’s Healthcare products consistent with Bayer’s compliance standards as well as all applicable legal requirements for those key targeted Health Care Providers (HCP’s) and Systems within an assigned territory. The WHC Sales Consultant will pull through access and drive utilization for Mirena, Kyleena and Skyla in appropriate patients and be responsible for the growth and profitability of these products. This is accomplished by promotion around the total office call which includes providers and decision makers within a given account.

 

This Territory Covers the State of Idaho.

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
The primary responsibilities of this role, WHC Sales Consultant (Boise, ID), are to:

 

Demonstrate a high level of in person as well as virtual sales acumen;Penetrate established accounts to gain additional market share for product portfolio;Effectively discover and address account needs with compelling messages and solutions;Dynamic development and execution of a comprehensive strategic and tactical territory sales business plan utilizing Athena, Sales IQ & Veeva Irep, including quarterly plan, gap analysis, marketing, and professional education activities to achieve overall sales goals for all promoted products;Deliver results by collaborating with peers, account team and all applicable internal stakeholders;Effective partnering with all responsible parties identified in the business plan to adhere to timelines for completion of all initiatives;Help refine and execute pull through strategies for HCP s and target accounts;Document all field activities in Veeva Irep;Demonstrate procedural proficiency and knowledge of clinical data for all products;Partner with targeted physicians/acc to develop referral networks for portfolio;Manage territory operating budget;Provide feedback on product performance, competition, marketing practices and customer satisfaction;Ensure that all assigned employee training is completed and up to date;Operate strictly within the corporate code of conduct and compliance guidelines set forth by Bayer Healthcare; Effectively contribute to the success of the organization and its internal and external customers by contributing to a positive work environment for all;Responsible for maintaining accurate records of travel expenses, calls, sample receipts, etc.

 

WHO YOU ARE
 

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
 
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required;Must be a motivated, self starter with a demonstrated track record of strong sales performance;Uses influence strategies to create positive outcomes for customers and Bayer;Identifies strategies and tactics to drive revenue;Ability to build strong relationships and partnerships with a collaborative working style;Demonstrates initiative and persistence in accomplishing tasks;Strong learning agility and ability to learn from others;Basic knowledge of the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry;Ability to comply with any customer credentialing and safety requirements (e.g., up to date vaccinations, trainings);Ability to travel 100%;Valid Driver’s License and eligibility to drive a company car or pooled vehicle (driving record must meet guidelines base on the company’s Risk Screening for Hiring Drivers and MVR will be reviewed as part of pre-employment screening).

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of (2) years of sales experience;Pharma and/or Ob/gyn specialty experience preferred but not required;Advanced degree a plus.

 

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $110,967 to $166,450.  Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).  Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..  This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
