**Job Description**
**General Purpose:**
To oversee daily operations of Whey Facility.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
1. Monitor ongoing plant operations and report to management.
2. Assure that product conforms to company and customer specifications.
3. Responsible for overseeing plant sanitation.
4. Staff, train, schedule & evaluate plant employees.
5. Responsible to assure plant equipment is maintained as required.
6. Maintain plant charts and production records.
7. Oversee operation and maintenance of boilers.
8. Oversee operation and maintenance of water polisher.
9. Monitor inventory levels of supplies.
10. Participate in the planning and coordination of plant projects.
11. Work with Regulatory and Customer Inspectors.
12. Participate in and promote safety programs.
13. Responsible for waste management.
14. Develop and manage KPI’s and budgets for the Whey Evaporator.
15. Perform Whey Department Supervisor’s duties when necessary (vacations, absence, etc.)

**Requirements**
**Education and Experience**
§ 5 years experience in a supervisory capacity preferred.
**_Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities_**
§ Degree preferred
§ Cheese/dairy experience preferred
§ Strong Communication skills
§ Strong Leadership skills
