Job Summary:

The Wholegoods Commercial Manager is a pivotal role which is crucial for the North and South Island, New Zealand. The Wholegoods Commercial Manager, AGCO reports to the Wholegoods Commercial & Dealer Central Manager ANZ and is responsible for Dealer Performance Improvement, Dealer Education & Dealer NPS in alignment with Brand Sales Teams and Functions within their AOR.

As a Wholegoods Commercial Manager, the role will be to support and guide the dealer network to improve the Wholegoods & Operational areas of their business, by implementing strategies such as NPS, the standards of MOS and other initiatives that assist in improving dealer performance and exceeding customers current and future expectations.

 

Your Impact

AGCO process & procedures including but not limited to:

Dealer Performance Improvement, Dealer Education & Fundamental Four Customer experience initiatives with Brand Sales Teams and Functions. Manage and work with tools such as Salesforce and Net Promoter Score (NPS) to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained within your area of responsibility. To ensure all open cases are followed up on. Reviewing trends and highlighting areas for process change or additional focus needed. Distribution Development - Work closely with key AGCO stakeholders, to ensure that all distribution points within the area of responsibility comply with current dealer partner standards. Implement action plans when required to ensure this is achieved. Administer and execute AGCO’s chosen form of dealer partner assessment and review program. Support dealers in the onboarding and offboarding process. Evaluating their end-to-end sales funnel, support tactical & strategic priorities to drive sales & and margin growth in alignment with the AGCO leadership and the Brand Sales Teams. Coordinate & support training to drive AGCO sales such as top future salesforce and salesforce management. Support and coordinate with Regional Sales Managers to co-create, implement Sales & Operations Goals for short-, medium- and long-term objectives across the sales team and distribution network. Provide Leadership within the Wholegoods team with Employee Health and Safety, Employee Engagement and Customer Experience front of mind. Leverage stakeholder relationships to deliver Farmer First & winning outcomes in ANZ. Systems Training - Provide Wholegoods Sales & Operations Training on local basis, oversee and implement all sales training requirements for AGCO and dealer staff. Maintain a regular call cycle with the dealer partners within the area of responsibility. Dealer partner visits are to be documented and reported via the Dealer Visit Report functionality within Salesforce. Review Sales performance against forecasts, supporting business plans implemented by the regional sales managers to ensure targets are achieved. Inventory Management –some physical stock checks to be completed during dealer visits ensuring units are maintained on premises and to the standard set out in the consignment stock agreement. Work with Regional Sales Managers and Dealer Partners receiving regular feedback regarding dealer sales performance and incorporating this into the performance review conversations with dealers. Support dealers follow their direction relative to specific dealer strategies and tactics in support of the annual dealer business plan and sale funnel activities. Support dealers with the co-ordination of field days support requests. Report accurately on industry and market conditions both internal (dealer) & external (competition). Manage and motivate dealer partners and their sales staff to ensure a profitable business model is achieved. Ensure that the dealer partners within the designated area of responsibility have a high level of satisfaction with the service level provided to them. Work to achieve AGCO ambitions in line with the corporate objectives and goals. Other tasks as required to contribute to the Wholegoods and distribution management functions of the business.

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

Working knowledge of dealership operations & practices suited to the agricultural sector. Working knowledge of multiple franchise dealer partner channels Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Salesforce Experience within manufacturing and / or agricultural industry would be beneficial. Preparedness to spend an average of three nights per week away from home. Preparedness to travel including oversees as required.
