Description We are seeking a meticulous Wholesale Assistant to join our client's team in the New Brunswick, New Jersey area. In this role you will be instrumental in supporting our sales team. You will be entrusted with tasks such as handling customer inquiries, maintaining accurate customer records, and utilizing Microsoft Excel alongside our internal systems. Responsibilities: • Provide support to our sales team to ensure smooth operations • Accurately process customer applications in a timely manner • Maintain and update customer credit records regularly • Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally • Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary • Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data effectively • Learn and adapt to internal systems for efficient work processes • Uphold organization and attention to detail in all tasks • Collaborate with other team members to achieve company goals • Stay updated with industry trends and apply them as necessary. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. • Proven experience in wholesale distribution or a similar role is preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary. • Must have excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. • Knowledge of marketing and PR strategies is beneficial. • Must have strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus. • Strong customer service skills are essential. • Must have the ability to make decisions and solve problems effectively. • Willingness to continually learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
