Purpose of Role 

Lead the strategy, growth & financial results for Wholesale Financila Lines portflio for India. 

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities 

Responsible for all India wholesales underwriting  Achieve annual top and bottom line financial goals for India and manage P&L  Set the strategy for profitable growth with priority for India Financial Lines Work with the Asia Financial Lines Head to develop and establish India wholesales business Bring  strong relationships with key FL producers, understanding their unique needs and providing appropriate guidance and solutions Engage with key local clients, growing long-term risk management partnerships Represent Chubb at key industry events, showcasing our knowledge and capabilities in India or Singapore   

Skills & Experience

7-10 years experience mandate in Financial Lines underwriting for Indian business Good level of understanding and underwriting experience for all Financial Lines product including D&O, PI, Crime, Cyber and FI   Local Indian market experience and relationship with key producers are critical  Proven track record of business development and achieving profitable revenue growth   Relationship Management: Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong relationships with distribution partners such as brokers, agents, and intermediaries. Track record of effectively managing key accounts, negotiating terms and conditions, and delivering exceptional service to clients Risk Assessment Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess risks accurately, identify potential exposures, and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies. Experience in conducting thorough risk inspections and effectively communicating risk-related information to stakeholders Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with internal teams, external partners, and clients. Collaborative mindset to work cross-functionally with colleagues in product development, claims, and other departments to deliver comprehensive solutions and support to clients
