WIC Mobile Truck Site Director
Role Responsibilities 1.The Mobile Site Director of WIC directly supervises the Assistant Mobile Site Director and WIC Mobile Grocery Associates. 2.The Mobile Site Director of WIC is responsible for hiring, coaching, supervising, evaluating, training, and professional development of the WIC Mobile Truck Staff. 3.Responsible for ensuring work is performed efficiently, promptly, accurately, and within the United States of Agricultural (USDA) guidelines. 4.Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, and ensuring effective operations and compliance with personnel policies and procedures of the Agency funding bodies and external vendors. 5.Reports to the Regional Directors of Women, Infants, and Children. 6.The WIC Mobile Site Director is responsible for all aspects of inventory management, including ordering, receiving, distribution, and returns, as well as estimating future trends. 7.The WIC Mobile Site Director will effectively deliver timely written and verbal reporting of Mobile WIC Grocery Center operations to the WIC leadership team. 8.The WIC Mobile Site Director is also responsible for coordinating and facilitating monthly meetings with the WIC Mobile Truck Staff. 9.The role requires the Director to maintain awareness of trends, updates, and publications related to WIC and community-based initiatives and concerns. 10.Oversee the resolution of all WIC Mobile Food Truck's inventory, food safety and vehicle maintenance records, and related concerns or issues. 11.Maintains communication regarding concerns or issues and seeks to provide timely resolution, w hile performing job expectations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date files and data required by the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS), an agency's programmatic policies, procedures, professional standards, and external conditions of all relevant regulatory licensing and/or accreditation bodies. 12.Manages and performs various administrative tasks, including collecting, analyzing, and maintaining data to comply with funding source requirements. 13. Proven experience operating medium-sized box trucks for deliveries and transporting larger loads efficiently. Familiar with safe loading and unloading and ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. PLEASE NOTE: Perform other job-related duties as assigned Education and Experience Requirements: Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree Minimum Education: Associate's Degree Preferred Experience: Management and Retail Experience; Advanced Microsoft Office Skills Word, Excel, and Outlook Minimum Experience: Supervisory and Retail Experience; Advanced Microsoft Office Skills Word, Excel, and Outlook Preferred Relevant Experience: 4--6 Years Minimum Relevant Experience: 2--4 Years Preferred Certification/Licensure: ServSafe Manager Certification and CDL and Forklift Minimum Certification/Licensure: Food Handler Certification and Forklift Physical Requirements Kneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling, or standing multiple times a day. Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds. Climb up and down flights of stairs. Lift up to 10 pounds.
