Prioritizing employee growth and development, we empower everyone to reach their full potential on their own terms. **What are your contributions to the team?** + Prepare all necessary documents to support the interior and secondary structure modification of Bombardier aircraft such as detail, assembly and installation drawings, specification documents and substantiation reports. + Coordinate with outside suppliers, internal departments and regulatory agencies regarding the design, installation, integration, and certification of new interior components to support floorplan modifications. + Research specification for component selection. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure specifications are met. + Support statement of work creation and bids for new customer requests. + Assist service center personnel in investigating, troubleshooting, and resolution of build/modification and test issues and create deviation drawings as required. + Work in a team environment **How to thrive in this role?** + You will hold a Bachelor of Science Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent with two (2) years relevant experience or will have a minimum of eight (8) years of practical mechanical design experience in aviation. + Working knowledge of electrical wiring diagrams and wire routing. + Working knowledge of integration of ECS systems, waste and potable water systems, and other commodities associated with interior installations. + You are proficient creating mechanical drawings using CATIA (required) and AutoCAD (additional) + You will have a working knowledge of applicable regulatory certification rules (FAA, EASA, TCCA). + You will be proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access) + You must be a self-starter and able to handle multiple initiatives effectively. + You must exhibit excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. + You should be an organized individual, able to work effectively with a variety of cross-functional individuals, departments and organizations with a general good attitude and disposition. + Effective communication of design intent, and design resolution are preferred. **Now that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier family!** Bombardier is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
