Responsible for supporting the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, employee training and development and enforcing company policies and practices.Role and ResponsibilitiesObserve and enforce compliance with all established safety rules and regulationsEnsure adherence to WPS Operational Excellence Manual and all associated policies and processesResponsible for the maintenance of employee records within the HR/Payroll SystemChecking and auditing timekeeping records for compliance with established standardsMaintaining time and attendance recordsPosting changes in pay and tax status, and miscellaneous changesEnforce established payroll-related policies, procedures and regulationsMust become a policy expert on payroll and HR mattersAccurately process all site payrolls on a bi-weekly basisSupport implementation of HR process improvement opportunitiesAdminister the WC, STD, FMLA and all BenefitsPromote employee training objectives and ensure compliance with all WilbertU training requirementsIdentify high potential employees and actively develop team members to build bench strength and plan for successionManage resources to meet or exceed established targets for employee turnover, safety and training.Manage the office as neededprovide translation and support for all facilities with Spanish speaking employeesProvide assistance with Open Enrollment and any other big events Wilbert may have need for a translator.Support the company with translation of work instructions for all locations as needed.
