The Plant Controller is a key member of the Willimantic management team and is responsible for maximizing plant profitability. 

What you’ll do:

As a key member of the local management team, you will be responsible for making decisions with the goal of maximizing plant profitabilityAssess and communicate the financial impact of discussion points as they arise during meetingsManage changing priorities effectively and smoothlyCommunicate financial concepts/information effectively to non-financial personnelBuild relationships with cross-functional teamsMeasure and report on efficiencies and guide local managementPrepare and present monthly financial statements that accurately reflect sales, margins, and expenses to measure performance versus plans and objectivesPlanning and budgetingCoordinate all financial aspects of the plant and help share best practices

Who are we looking for?

Qualifications:

Required:

Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance4+ years’ experience in manufacturing plant accounting and controllingStrong Excel and software/systems skillsAbility to travel occasionally

Preferred:

SAP knowledgeCertifications: CPA, CGMA or CMA
