The Job You Will Perform:
Work in tandem with current Shipping Coordinator. Safely Operating Forklift Navigating computer programs , knowledge of Witron a plus Prepare invoices for customers Billing out when loads are complete Loading and unloading trucks Completing Monthly inventory Manage documentation associated with shipping processes Prepare products for shipping purposes. Conduct physical inventories to determine losses and identify stocks for shipment. Purchase equipment and supplies to facilitate storage area functions. Compile work orders and ensure appropriate compliance. Retrieve outgoing freight on shipping docks and ensure warehouse maintenance. Oversee safe operation and maintenance of forklifts and other equipment. Ability to Practice Housekeeping Must Have the Ability to Work Overtime as Needed
Additional Job Objectives:
Back up coverage for current Shipping Coordinator Inventory control management at Wilmar and Murphy Warehouses Monitor slow moving items and prepare weekly reporting Drop Trailer Management Freight and trailer optimization This position reports to the Shakopee Minnesota Shipping Supervisor
