Exciting new opportunity for an experienced Wills & Estates professional to join a growing and dynamic legal team. Our client, a respected law firm, is looking for a talented and motivated individual to support their busy legal team and assist with high-end estate planning and will drafting. The successful candidate will be expected to work 5 days a week onsite in our clients' office in South Surrey.

About The Opportunity
The firm is looking for someone who is both proactive and has experience drafting wills and assisting with estate planning. With a supportive and busy team, you'll be an integral part of managing legal documentation and assisting clients directly. This role allows for considerable professional development and presents a chance to work closely with two highly experienced lawyers.
About The PositionProvide legal administrative support to lawyersDraft and assist in the preparation of wills, estate planning documents, and related correspondenceHandle legal documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely completionManage client files, including organizing and maintaining both electronic and paper recordsConduct legal searches, including land title searches and BC Online inquiriesCommunicate directly with clients to obtain information, answer queries, and handle estate planning cold callsAttend on the witnessing and execution of willsAssist with managing the lawyer’s calendar, scheduling meetings and appointmentsMinimal administrative tasks (approx. 10% of role), including time entries and invoicingThe Requirements LAA Certificate or equivalent 3+ years of experience in Wills & Estates Proficient with MS Office, ESI Law, BC Online, LTSA Experience drafting wills, estate planning documents, and handling estates is essential Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Friendly, approachable personality with a strong work ethic Ambitious and eager to grow in a professional environment Estate administration experience is a plus, but not requiredCompensationSalary: $50,000 - $65,000 depending on experience Vacation: 3 weeks per year Benefits: Standard benefit package after 3 months
