Focus: This role will support Document Control administrative tasks for Winchester and White Flyer operations.
Document Control Assistant Essential Functions:
Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), including connecting tooling, if needed.Engineering Experimental Orders (EOs) processing. Maintain the following:Material Master, Bill of Material (BOM), and Routing in Systems Applications and Products (SAP).Electronic tracking files for ECOs, Materials, Material Specifications, and data pages in the Access Database.Winchester Ammunition Standard Procedures (WASPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Material Specifications, Product Info sheets, and Winchester Data Pages.Access to the database for new symbols and materials for input into SAP.Department records and files according to department records retention schedules.Update and Audit pending obsolescence report.Field questions related to ECOs, SAP, Access databases, etc.Assist engineering personnel with SAP functions, including training engineers on proper engineering documentation requirements.Document Control Assistant Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum one year administrative experience; Three years’ supporting Engineering or Manufacturing experience preferred.Knowledge of engineering support systems, Winchester manufacturing organization, processes, and flow of products between departments preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Access and SAP preferred.Ability to interpret ECO data and accurately maintain information in supporting systems.Must be action-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume workload, shift demands, work independently, and willingness to be collaborative and support team efforts.Location-Specific Requirements:
This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.Strong Careers Grow Here
