Salary: $67,500+, depending on relevant related experience

Focus: This exciting role will offer HR support to the White Flyer Target locations and East Alton Winchester business.  It is a dynamic and visible role offering further growth opportunities within our HR team.  You will provide client support on all human resources related matters, including but not limited to, hiring, employee relations, HR Compliance and Affirmative Action, onboarding, learning and development, performance, and talent management.

HR Business Partner Essential Functions:

Primary focus is hands-on HR support to the White Flyer Target locations (i.e. Webb City, MO; Coal Township, PA; Dalton, GA; Knox, IN; and San Bernardino, CA). Leads the talent acquisition process for the White Flyer Target locations, including discussing staffing needs with hiring managers, screening applications, conducting interviews, and preparing offers. Provides employees and managers with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR policies and practices. Supports the performance review process by guiding managers and assisting in developing and implementing performance management strategies. Aids in identifying training needs and working with managers to develop and implement training/development initiatives. Communicates and enforces HR policies in accordance with local, state, and federal labor laws. Stays updated with labor laws and regulations and ensures organizational compliance with laws. Develops and implements employee engagement initiatives and organizes employee-focused events. Administers corrective action following a progressive disciplinary model up to termination.

HR Business Partner Position Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree*; Human Resources, Business Management, Employee Relations, Organizational Development, or Business related discipline preferred. A minimum of one year hands-on human resources generalist or talent acquisition experience.  Progressive experience within talent acquisition, employee engagement/relations, manager/supervisor development and training, investigations and policy enforcement, disciplinary action, and related activities preferred.   Prior HR experience working in an OFCCP-regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of employment and labor laws and regulations including FLSA, AAP/EEO, ADA/ADEA, FMLA, etc. 
Workday, PeopleSoft, Saba, Kronos, Applicant Tracking System such as Taleo, and SAP experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to set priorities, manage high-volume workload, and willingness to be collaborative and support team efforts. Must possess excellent analytical, communication (verbal and written), leadership, organizational, presentation, problem-solving, project management, and decision-making skills. Must be available to travel a minimum of 15%.


Location-Specific Requirements: 

This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
