Description Position at SBM Management

SBM Management is looking for a Glass Wash Tech to join our team! The Glass Wash Technician will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and provides some work direction to Glass Wash Technician staff. The lead will help ensure a clean lab environment, report any lab room or facility problems, clean and organize lab facilities, glass washing tasks, keep daily log of duties as required, perform other related duties as required and request cleaning materials as needed. Keeping assigned areas clean and in an orderly condition, the lead will work successfully with co-workers, customers, contractors, and others. The individual is expected to understand and follow instructions, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities:

Stops at risk behavior of others and selfProvide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvementPerform work assignments in a team with other employeesPerform repetitive tasksMaintain clean work areaTake direction and respond to supervisionCommunicate with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional mannerTrack and maintain supply inventoryUse proper personal protective equipmentPresent a professional appearance and conductUnderstand customer service and satisfactionUnderstand reporting systems and the environmentAssist Custodial Supervisor or GMP Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipmentPerform repetitive tasks in a GMP environmentPerform sanitization duties to maintain a GMP controlled environmentConsistently follow all customer and SBM SOP’s and proceduresRespond to customer requests in a professional mannerFully train in area job functions for specific shift assignment and area classification including walls, floors,
windows, wipe-downs, maintenance issue reporting, and shut-down cleaningComplete daily FN logs accurately and completelyMust be trained and be certified in correct gowning procedures for assigned areaComplete all basic training modules and annual qualification trainings per customer Standard Operating
ProceduresPerform quality, service, and safety inspectionsReport incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisorReport employee personnel and customer issues to supervisorMonitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and suppliesCorrect at risk behavior and report to the supervisor immediatelyComplete all safety certifications including chemical safetyAvailable to act as area fill-in in the event of general staff shortageMaintain logs and schedules

Qualifications:  

High school diploma / GED requiredAt least 1-year related experienceCPR/AED/First Aid certification May be required to have a valid driver’s licenseCompleted all safety and task training certificationMay be required to be forklift certifiedAbility to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documentsStrong verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with teamKnowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipmentKnowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use

Shift: 6:00 am - 8:00 am
Compensation: $34.77- $35.77 per hour
