**Description and Requirements**

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Windows Imaging Engineer to create, modify, test, and verify custom Windows images for our Fortune 500 clients. This role focuses on Lenovo ThinkPad laptops, ThinkCentre desktops, and ThinkStation workstations, with occasional support for non-Lenovo hardware. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Windows operating systems, image creation processes, and scripting, along with excellent communication and project management skills.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Windows images from scratch for various hardware platforms (Lenovo primarily, with some non-Lenovo support).
+ Utilize various imaging tools, including Microsoft DISM, Windows ADK, Sysprep, custom OOBE configuration, and an in-house manufacturing tool.
+ Develop and maintain scripts (batch, PowerShell, AutoIt, VBScript, etc.) for image customization and automation.
+ Demonstrate a strong understanding of operating system architecture, loading processes, and configuration techniques, including Unattend.XML, registry manipulation, and other customization methods.
+ Collaborate directly with clients to gather custom imaging and BIOS/CMOS requirements, document project scope, and create test plans for client approval.
+ Deliver technical solution documentation and provide test results to clients based on approved test plans.
+ Manage the image release process, including packaging approved images for manufacturing.
+ Work closely with sales teams to understand client needs and contribute to project proposals.
+ Manage multiple projects concurrently, adhering to deadlines and maintaining high-quality work.
+ Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
**Technical Knowledge:**
+ Windows OS (Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows PE)
+ SCCM
+ MDT
+ Intune, Autopilot and Azure AD
+ Virtualization – Hyper-V, VMware
+ PowerShell
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Experience in creating and customizing Windows images.
+ Scripting skills in batch, PowerShell, AutoIt, VBScript, or other relevant technologies.
+ Knowledge of Windows operating system architecture, deployment processes, and configuration.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Familiarity with Unattend.XML, registry manipulation, and other image customization techniques.
+ Experience working directly with clients to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
+ Knowledge of imaging tools such as Microsoft DISM, Windows ADK, and Sysprep.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality 1 work.
+ Experience with Lenovo hardware (ThinkPad, ThinkCentre, ThinkStation) is preferred.
+ Bilingual English and Spanish (nice to have).
