We are seeking an experienced and motivated Windows Platform Automation Engineer to join our Windows Image Bakery squad. This role focuses on leveraging cutting-edge Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable Windows images for use across a large, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain automated solutions for Windows image creation and management.Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Packer to ensure consistent and repeatable image creation processes.Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to streamline Windows image customization, deployment, and compliance tasks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand infrastructure requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.Ensure all Windows images adhere to organizational security and compliance standards.Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the image creation pipeline, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Windows automation and IaC technologies, applying best practices to the team’s workflows.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in automating Windows environments at scale.Expertise in PowerShell scripting for automation and task orchestration.Familiarity with IaC tools, with hands-on experience in Ansible, Terraform, and Packer being highly beneficial.Strong understanding of Windows operating system internals, security configurations, and compliance standards.Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure and AWS.Proficiency in VMware environments and virtualization technologies.Experience working in agile teams, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in large-scale IT environments with a focus on infrastructure automation.Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with IaC workflows.Knowledge of Python scripting.Relevant certifications in Windows, cloud platforms, or automation technologies.
