As a senior platform engineer in the Windows OS squad, you will be a subject matter expert in a range of technologies and processes related to enterprise client computing. You will provide advanced investigative support for BCG's standard applications and endpoints. Assist in the delivery of new technologies that support and delight the workforce. Provide investigation and resolution for complex client related incidents, including, but not limited to blue screens, application crashes and performance optimization. Help to create standards and best practices.What You'll Bring
Expertise with modern Microsoft management solutions, e.g. Intune, Azure, Entra Proficiency in Windows operating systems internals, including understanding of memory management, I/O subsystems, CPU scheduling, and kernel-level components. Experienced with low level analytics tools such as Windows Performance Toolkit, Windbg, process monitor, driver verifier and enterprise diagnostic tools Experience working with cross-functional teams to identify performance requirements, define performance testing strategies, and implement performance improvements. Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like PowerShell, Python, or batch scripting to automate performance testing, data collection, and analysis tasks. Proven track record of diagnosing and resolving performance issues in complex, distributed systems. Prior experience in a senior or lead role, with the ability to mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance. Deliver informative, well-organized demonstrations and data analysis. Provide support for ad-hoc analysis requests.Who You'll Work With
