Job Description:

At Regions, the Windows Security Engineer is responsible for managing user access to infrastructure and ensuring privileged access is handled appropriately to protect the integrity and confidentiality of data within the Regions environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Understands objects and policies within Active DirectoryMaintains file/folder permissions on share drivesConfigures Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) toolsSecures account credentials within the enterprise vaulting solutionsUnderstands baseline compliance requirements for Windows systems and provide reporting/resolution steps to ensure servers/workstations adhere to standardsConfigures GPO policy monitoringDiscovers security control gaps and proposes solutions for implementationCreates technical documentation of operating proceduresFollows and applies configuration and security standards and policies within a defined Change Management processes as neededFulfills ticket requestsIdentifies problematic areas and proposes strategic solutionsParticipates in 24x7 on call rotation

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED and five (5) years relevant experienceOr Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline and one (1) year of relevant experience

Certifications: Security+, MCSE: Server Infrastructure, MCSA: Windows Server 2012, CISSPExperience with Azure/AWSExperience with Okta for MFAExperience with Password VaultExperience working with a large enterprise distributed computing environmentGeneral understanding of network and infrastructure (Networking protocol knowledge is an advantage- TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, firewalls, proxies, IDS, IPS etcIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS, formerly Terminal Services)Knowledge of industry-standard Information Security frameworks, policies and proceduresSAN/NAS installation, configuration, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting experienceStrong PowerShell scripting skillsStrong Windows Server experience (2003-2019)Strong Windows Server experience (2008-2019)

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience with Bomgar/BeyondTrust, CyberArk, and Hashicorp Vault. This role will require after-hours support.

This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch, Consumer Operations, or Professional Office Building with the primary location being for Birmingham, AL, Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC.  Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. Exceptions to the geographic location requirement may be made for current Regions associates who work remotely.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$113,330.00 USD
