HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Manages the functionality, communication, and efficiency of interconnected computers running on one or more operating systems.Design, plan, implement, and administer enterprise level systems and server solutions in a virtualized infrastructure.Develop, plan and implement processes to maintain integrity and security of servers and systems.Sets up and manages administrator and service accounts.Perform analysis, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery for servers.Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members.Design, develop, and document PowerShell or other equivalent scripts for administrative functions.Identify the need, create and maintain system documentation.Develop and implement testing strategies and document results.Provide tier 1 and 2 support.Configure, manage, and maintain servers within a VMWare virtualized environment.Working knowledge of maintaining systems, applying STIGs and patches, and perform, firmware updates.Working knowledge of Microsoft Server 2012r2 and 2016 servers.Working knowledge with Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) servers (preferred).Experience with McAfee Host Based Security System (HBSS) – agents and ePolicy Orchestrator (EPO).Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.Ability to participate in special projects as required.May be assigned as a team lead.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree: BA/BS or equivalent years of experience.

● Certification: 8570 certification: IAT Level II Certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP) AND Computing environment certificate in Microsoft Windows (MCSA) or equivalent within 6 months of hire.

● Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience of systems admin Windows Server 2012 or later.
● Required Technical Skills: Windows Server 2012+, STIGs, HBSS,
● Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain and maintain SECRET
● Required Skills and Abilities: Communication, problem solving, trouble shotting, train Assoc and INT level team members.
● Location: On Customer Site Ft. Huachuca

The likely salary range for this position is $80,750 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
