Job Description

We are GDIT. The people supporting and securing some of the most complex government, defense, and intelligence projects across the country.

GDIT is seeking a systems administrator expert (Windows and Virtual Machine) to support our Financial Agencies Team. Candidate must be eligible to meet the customer clearance requirements. This position is 100% remote.

The position duties include:

·        Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; contribute to and maintain system standards, policies, and procedures

·        Follow best practices to adhere to enterprise architecture.

·        Must have demonstrated problem analysis and resolution skills

·        Maintains system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting, system hardware, installation, firmware patching, and virtual machine management.

·        Create and Maintain SOP’s and train junior staff as necessary

·        Responsible for the health of the production server infrastructure

·        Provide 24X7 support as needed.

·        Experience working with vCenter server appliance 6.0 is plus

·        Exceed expected quality of service on maintenance & deployment of upgrades, enhancements, and modifications to systems

·        Work ticket queues and document resolutions completely and accurately

·        Able to analyze alerts from various monitoring tools and take appropriate actions during troubleshooting

QUALIFICATIONS:

The role requires at least 5 years of systems experience with the administration of Microsoft Windows and Virtualized Server systems. The position duties include:
