Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation: Starting pay rate of $16.85, actual wage will be adjusted based on experience.
Benefits: Full-time and part-time seasonal positions eligible for a season pass for employee/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc) also available.
Job Summary:
Become a part of the Killington Grand Health Club Team that prides itself in superior service and guest experience. The Health Club Attendant is responsible for creating a welcoming and clean environment for guests. This position involves ensuring the proper functioning of the facility, assisting guests with their needs, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Greet guests and provide them with information about the hotel and resort
Focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Launder spa linens and pool towels
Provide guidance to guests, highlighting amenities and services available
Monitor the fitness center to ensure a safe and secure environment for all members
Maintain cleanliness of the spa, gym, and locker rooms (including bathrooms and showers)
Maintain cleanliness of the pool and hot tubs including vacuuming and scrubbing, placing and removing pool and hot tub covers, etc.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area
Perform other tasks as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old
Previous experience in a health club preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Highly responsible and reliable
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Must be able to work weekends, holidays and variable shift times
Ability to monitor and enforce liquor policy
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
