Winter 24/25: Road Maintenance CDL Driver

Location: Killington, Vermont

Compensation and Benefits: 

Compensation: Starting wage of $25.00, adjusted based on experience.

Benefits: Full-time, seasonal position eligible for a season pass for employee/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available. 

Job Summary:

Become a part of the team the clears, cleans and maintains our roads and parking lots to ensure our guests can easily and safely access the Beast of the East.

Summary of Key Responsibilities: 

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 

Abide by all rules to maintain the CDL and be available for mandated D&A testing

Operate heavy equipment such as medium wheel loader and dump truck during winter snow storms and perform snow removal activities

Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment

Identify preventative maintenance needs and report to managers

Interact professionally with guests and other departments as needed

Basic Qualifications: 

Class A or B CDL with airbrakes required

Valid US drivers license

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Drive medium duty dump trucks for snow plowing operations

Must be able to operate loader/backhoe/skid steer type equipment

Prior experience desirable but will train the right candidate

Must be dependable and reliable

Ability to work early morning starts in all weather conditions

Must have the knowledge, tools, and ability to perform troubleshooting and repairs of trucks and equipment
