**Job Title: Wire EDM Operator** **Job Description** Operate wire EDM equipment per work order. You will be responsible for operating Wire EDM machines, performing long run production, and fully setting up the machine with a technician when needed. Additional duties include deburring parts and inspecting them using various tools such as micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, vision systems, and CMM. You will also perform general maintenance on the machines when required. **Responsibilities** + Operate wire EDM equipment per work order + Perform long run production on Wire EDM machines + Fully set up the machine with a technician when needed + Deburr parts + Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, vision systems, and CMM + Perform general maintenance on machines when required **Essential Skills** + Experience with wire EDM machines + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including knowledge of GD&T + Proficient in using inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, vision systems, and CMM + 2-year Technical Degree or 2 years of CNC experience **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience setting up and operating Wire EDM machines + Experience in machining and blueprint reading **Why Work Here?** This is an up-and-coming medical device company with significant upward mobility. The overall environment is spacious and clean. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
