**Job Title: Wire Harness Assembler** **Job Description** We are looking to add Wire Harness Assemblers to our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling the product from start to finish. You will perform a variety of assembly operations involving the application of plastic connectors and hardware on wire harnesses, apply heat shrink, sleeving, labels, and spot ties as required, coil individual or multiple wires per specified dimensions, and solder terminals and wires per customer specifications. You will follow work procedures and blueprints to meet production schedules. **Responsibilities** + Perform a variety of assembly operations involving the application of plastic connectors and hardware on wire harnesses. + Apply heat shrink, sleeving, labels, and spot tie as required. + Coil individual or multiple wires per specified dimensions. + Solder terminals and wires per customer specifications. + Follow work procedures and blueprints to meet production schedules. **Essential Skills** + 1 year of hand soldering and wire harness experience. + Experience with blueprints and wire schematics. + Wire harness and cable assembly experience. + Proficiency with hand and power tools such as crimpers, soldering irons, cutters, and strippers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + IPC 620 or J-STD-001 experience is a plus. + Ability to read a ruler and understand measurement systems. **Why Work Here** This position offers a 6-month contract to hire opportunity. The facility is very quiet, allowing you to have one AirPod in throughout the day to listen to music or other audio. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
