**Immediately Hiring** **Experienced (3+yrs.)** **Wire Harness Repair Technician** **Apply Now OR Email your Resume to Tyler Williams** tylewilliams @ (tylewilliams@aerotek.com) **aerotek.com** **Job Description** Fabricate and repair aviation / aerospace wire harnesses. **Responsibilities** + Select wires of specified color, marking, or length, and loop wires between guide pegs on a harness board, following color-coded lines, locator blocks, or sequential numbers on the board or diagram. + Wrap and tape wires together into a cable to form a harness that is uniform in diameter and of high-quality workmanship. + Attach ends of wires to contact pins by crimping or install contact pins into connector plugs, or install terminal lugs into a junction box. + Insert cable in plastic tubing or inject sealant around terminal pins to protect the cable from dust and moisture. + Test wiring continuity, resistance, or loop resistance per specifications and document results of tests on required paperwork per documented instructions. + Mark identifying data on completed harness per drawing or shop order. + Wire, tape, and assemble harnesses to demand, maintaining inventory levels as specified by management. **Essential Skills** + **3+ Years of Experience** in wire harness repair / fabrication + Ability to read and interpret work orders, diagrams, schematics, drawings, and wire lists + Proficiency in selecting wires of specified color, marking, or length + Skill in wrapping and taping wires together into a cable + Ability to attach ends of wires to contact pins by crimping or installing contact pins into connector plugs + Experience in inserting cable in plastic tubing or injecting sealant around terminal pins + Proficiency in testing wiring continuity, resistance, or loop resistance per specifications + Ability to document results of tests accurately **Job Type & Location** This is a Long-term position based out of El Segundo, California. **Apply Now OR Email your Resume to Tyler Williams** tylewilliams @ (tylewilliams@aerotek.com) **aerotek.com** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
