**Job Title: Wire Technician** **Shift:** 6:00am - 4:30pm (M-F) Occasional Saturday: 6:00am - 12:30pm **Pay** : $16 - $18 **Location:** Jacksonville, FL **Job Description** We are looking for a dedicated Wire Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling industrial power systems, including wiring power systems and assembling electrical components. You will need to read schematics and engineering drawings for assembly and use various hand and power tools such as power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measure. This is a non-climate controlled environment, and you will be required to stand for the entire shift, which may also involve standing on ladders to assemble units up to 8 feet in height. **Responsibilities** + Manufacture and assemble industrial power systems. + Wire power systems and assemble electrical components. + Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, and schematic drawings. + Utilize hand tools and power tools, including power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measure. + Stand for the entire shift and potentially on ladders for assembly. **Essential Skills** + Experience with tape measure, drills, production, hand tools, and wiring. + Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, and schematic drawings. + Skilled in using hand tools and power tools. + Proficient in reading tape measures, mechanical blueprints, power tools, and schematics. **Why Work Here?** This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering a pay raise, profit sharing, benefits, PTO, paid holidays, and 401k upon conversion to a permanent employee. New skills to be learned include wiring, mechanical, welding, CNC machinery, electrical testing, paint line, and more. **Work Environment** This role is based in a large, open bay production facility with multiple workstations and bays. The production floor is not climate controlled, but industrial-sized ceiling fans help keep the air moving. Safety shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs must be worn as needed. The shift is from 6:00am to 4:30pm (Monday to Friday) and 6:00am to 12:30pm on Saturdays. Availability to work on Saturdays is required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
