Our client, a leading manufacturer in the electrical industry, is seeking a Wire Tester to join their team. As a Wire Tester, you will be part of the Testing Department supporting the Transformer Manufacturing Team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, good computer skills, and a good understanding of electrical concepts, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Wire Tester **Location:** Canonsburg, PA **Pay Range:** $23.20/hr **What's the Job?** + Test transformers with various pieces of test equipment, work safely, develop, and put test data into test sheets, perform test calculations, analyze test data, and test failures. + Calibrate and repair test equipment, assist new testers. + Perform minor repair of test equipment. + Keep the work area safe, neat, and clean. + Meeting Production schedules and requirements **What's Needed?** + Must be able to work on complex work assignments + Must have good communication skills – oral and written + Good computer skills, i.e., Microsoft Office, programming + Good understanding of Electrical concepts + Ability to lift 60 lbs., work in extreme hot and cold weather, must stand for long periods of time, will be exposed to loud noise levels, operate hand and power tools for long periods of time. Work in an environment with dirt, grease, and dust. Manual dexterity to operate specialized equipment. Ability to hear telephone conversations and speak clearly.
