Job description:
· Perform testing of Wireless LAN (WLAN) switching/ access point products employing advanced security.
· Develop and execute test plans for wireless products, including scripts for automated testing.
· Identify, reproduce, characterize and log bugs. Verify fixes for bugs and plan/execute additional tests needed for fix verification.
· Execute performance, interoperability, and system level tests. Analyze failures and defects, and recommend corrective actions.
· Proactively work with developers in debugging software and hardware issues during new product development.
Responsibilities:
· Strong experience in developing, enhancing tools/applications for a new test automation framework supporting automated functional testing on Cisco access-points.
· Experience in Design and execute automated tests for gray-box, and black-box functional validation of wifi features, 802.11 security access methods, etc
· Strong Experience with scripting in Tcl/tk and iTest
· Must have 2+ years of test experience on Wi-fi, RF,802.11 /ac/a/b/g/n,AP, clients, WLAN, SSID
· Prior experience with Cisco ATS and automation frame work is a plus
· Knowledge of L2/L3 (Ethernet, VLAN, bridging, STP, 802.1q, 802.3ad, TCP/IP, DHCP), SNMP, HTTP, Linux/UNIX/Windows operating systems.
· Must have experience work independently and ability to write testplans for Wireless features
· Must have troubleshooting skills in wired and wireless connections using wireshark, Omnipeek, etc
· CCIE-Wireless, CCNA-Wireless, CWNA is a plus
· Education – MS/BS EE/CS is required.
