Job Summary

TravelCenters of America offers a convenient, one-stop shopping experience to our customers. As a Wireless Manager, you are responsible for providing leadership for operations, marketing, team development, customer growth and retention for the wireless phone profit center. This includes assisting in hiring/staffing, training, development and supervision of retail sales associates. The Wireless Manager is responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests so that we are returning every traveler to the road better than they came!

 

In this role, you can expect to:

Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service! Attain sales targets for new activations, upgrades, and accessories monthly  Recruit, develop and train sales team  Oversee inventory management controls  Accountable for the total financial function of assigned wireless kiosk Focus on and grow ebitda for kiosk location Participate in sales generation through non-traditional retail prospecting methods  Grow the customer base and retain existing customers by providing an excellent customer shopping experience   Implement company safety programs and ensure that programs are in place and properly executed Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of wireless promotions, products, and services Maintain clean and professional appearance of wireless store location  Prioritize your work according to the store and management needs Communicate frequently with General Manager and co-workers  Understand and follow TA safety guidelines  Perform other job-related duties as assigned

A leader who sets the example when working alongside team members  The ability to lead, motivate, train, and develop people to unleash the talent within each team member  High School Diploma (or GED) required. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred Supervisory experience preferred  Good verbal communication skills Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays

Pay Range

$COMPENSATION.RANGE per hour

Typical Physical Demands

In this role, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear.  Standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending over, crouching, crawling, climbing, and repetitive use of legs are done occasionally. The team member is occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs and/or move heavy objects.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment

While performing these duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons. Occasionally, the employee will also be exposed to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times. While performing these duties, the employee may be exposed to dirt, dust, grime, grease, oil, gas, high-concentrated cleaning solutions, etc.
