Wireless System Engineer
**Summary:** At Reality Labs, we’re developing the future of augmented and virtual reality. We are seeking a Wireless System Engineer to join our Wireless team at Reality Labs. In this role, you will be a key member of a team of innovators, working on cutting-edge wireless technologies aimed at pushing beyond the state of the art in developing wireless technologies that will enable the future of AR/VR. **Required Skills:** Wireless System Engineer Responsibilities: 1. Analyze wireless subsystem requirements (including but not limited to RF, PHY, MAC, protocol, and application level performance) based on product requirements and use cases. 2. Set system performance expectation for wireless subsystems and drive the wireless architecture (HW/SW) with other cross-functional teams achieving product performance optimization. 3. Develop test plans, bring-up HW set-ups, perform wireless system performance evaluations, and conduct data analysis. 4. Analyze and debug wireless system issues and chipset/FW/SW defects, and improve broad system level performance during product cycle. **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 5. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. 6. 2+ years of wireless system engineering experience, including design, evaluation, and debugging of wireless features. 7. Knowledge of wireless technologies and standards, including Wi-Fi 802.11ac/ax, Bluetooth and Cellular 5G/LTE. 8. Hands-on experience with test instrumentation equipment. 9. Cross-functional collaboration skills **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 10. 5+ years of wireless system engineering experience. 11. End-to-end wireless system debugging and analysis experience. 12. Proficiency with one or more of the following programming or scripting languages: Python, C/C++. 13.
