Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician - Wireman to join our team in Canton, OH. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of electrical assembly and wiring projects, building control panels and switchboards for switchgear equipment. This role offers competitive hourly pay and flexible 1st and 2nd shift options.

ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical assembly and wiring/building of control panels and switchboards for switchgear equipmentUtilize schematics to wire panels and unitsBend and install conduit (Rigid & EMT)Lift up to 50 lbs. on occasionWork alongside mechanical assemblers to wire units as they are builtEssential SkillsExperience in commercial or industrial electrical work, such as electrical apprenticeshipsProficiency in working with conduit (Rigid or EMT)Ability to read and utilize schematicsFamiliarity with electrical toolsExperience in point-to-point wiring, electrical wiring, electrical assembly, panel wiring, and panel assemblyUnderstanding of control panels and switchgearAbility to perform electrical testing and wiring based on blueprintsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

You will work in a well-lit and climate-controlled facility. The work environment is laid-back without micromanagement, allowing you to work independently on different sections of the builds. Expect to work 1st shift (5:30am - 3:30pm) Monday to Thursday, with potential overtime of 5-8 hours per week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $25.00/hr.
