**Wiring Technician**
The work environment is climate-controlled and features an extremely nice facility. Contractors will sit at a bench wiring panels/switchgears and can wear comfortable clothing. All necessary tools will be provided, and each workspace offers plenty of space. **The shift is a 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday, 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) with overtime available on Fridays (5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.).**
**Job Description**
**The Wiring Assembler will interpret electrical schematics to assemble and/or wire electrical power systems (switchgears and panels). The candidate must have the ability to use various hand tools as it relates to sub-pan and systems assemblies. This is a production facility, so the assemblers will be doing repetitive work. They will learn to wire a panel based on a schematic and then repeat this procedure until the production volume is met.**
**Responsibilities**
+ Interpret electrical schematics to assemble and/or wire electrical power systems.
+ Use various hand tools for sub-pan and systems assemblies.
+ Perform sub panel layouts, drill and tap holes with minimal supervision.
+ Wire sub-pans, door devices, and other power equipment under supervision.
+ Wire using wire way and loom and perform free-bundling.
+ Wire simple relay circuits and perform daisy chaining with minimum supervision.
+ Perform mechanical assembly on switchgear/switchboard under supervision
+ Wire and route harnesses neatly with or without wire loom.
+ Perform all wiring duties on sub panels, door devices, and enclosures.
+ Crimp wire and understand the usage of hardware such as screws, bolts, nuts, and washers.
+ Perform any other duties as assigned by Lead person/Supervisor/Manager.
**Essential Skills**
+ Strong mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to read blueprints or electrical schematics.
+ Ability to use hand/power tools.
+ Ability to read a tape measure.
+ Electrical assembling experience.
+ Point to Point wiring experience.
+ Experience reading electrical schematics.
