**Job Title: Wiring Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a Wiring Technician with varying levels of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational to advanced understanding of electrical systems, the ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics, and the skill to correctly land wires efficiently. This role requires basic to advanced problem-solving skills and knowledge of electrical tools. **Responsibilities** + Wire Tech 1: Fundamental knowledge of electrical systems, learning to read drawings/schematics with assistance, needs help with wire size and colors, can correctly land 20+ wires per hour, basic problem-solving skills, and basic knowledge of electrical tools. + Wire Tech 2: Deeper understanding of electrical systems, can catch minor issues with drawings and communicate them timely, can determine wire size and colors, comprehend most drawing packages, enhanced troubleshooting abilities, good tool knowledge, good project communication skills to floor or project management, can correctly land 30+ wires per hour, and make wire labels as needed. + Wire Tech 3: Great understanding of electrical systems, notices significant issues with engineering drawings and communicates them timely, can determine wire size and colors, assist lower-tier employees with decisions, comprehend all drawing packages, enhanced troubleshooting abilities, possibly test when necessary, highest level of tool knowledge, can train other employees, good project communication skills to floor management, project management, or engineers, can correctly land 40+ wires per hour, make wire labels and changes to labels as needed, and lead a crew on big projects. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings + Knowledge of wire sizes and colors + Basic to advanced problem-solving skills + Basic to advanced knowledge of electrical tools + Ability to correctly land wires efficiently (20+ wires per hour for Wire Tech 1, 30+ wires per hour for Wire Tech 2, 40+ wires per hour for Wire Tech 3) + Good project communication skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to make and edit wire labels + Leadership skills for Wire Tech 3 + Enhanced troubleshooting abilities + Highest level of tool knowledge for Wire Tech 3 + Experience with panel building, crimping, wire stripping, and electrical assembly **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a small team feel with the opportunity to move up within the company.
