**Job Title: Wiring Technician : $19 to $23 per hour, ALPHARETTA, GA**
**Job Description**
The Wiring Assembler will interpret electrical schematics to assemble and/or wire electrical power systems (switchgears and panels). Candidates must have the ability to use various hand tools as it relates to sub-pan and systems assemblies. This is a production facility, so the assemblers will be doing repetitive work. They will learn to wire a panel based on a schematic and then repeat this procedure until the production volume is met.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform assembly of electrical power systems based on electrical schematics.
+ Use hand tools and power drills to perform sub-panel layouts, drill and tap holes with minimum supervision.
+ Wire sub-pans, door devices, and other power equipment under supervision.
+ Wire using wire way and loom, and perform free-bundling as required.
+ Wire simple relay circuits and perform daisy chaining with common wires in drawings with minimum supervision.
+ Perform mechanical assembly on switchgear/switchboard under supervision.
+ Mount all pertinent equipment.
+ Follow ISO standards and drawings for wiring sub-pans, door devices, and other pertinent power equipment.
+ Wire and route harnesses neatly with or without wire loom.
+ Crimp wires and understand the usage of hardware such as screws, bolts, nuts, and washers.
+ Use hand tools for extended periods of time.
**Essential Skills**
+ Strong mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to read blueprints or electrical schematics.
+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.
+ Ability to read a tape measure.
+ Experience in electrical assembly and crimping wires.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Electrical assembling experience.
+ Point-to-point wiring experience.
+ Former military or HVAC experience is a plus.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is climate controlled and extremely nice. Contractors will be sitting at a bench wiring panels and switchgears. Comfortable clothing is allowed, and all necessary tools are provided. Each workspace has plenty of space. The shift is a 4-day work week, Monday to Thursday from 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime available on Fridays from 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Reliable transportation is very important as well as a reasonable commute.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
