The Level 1 Trauma Pediatric Emergency Department at Inova Children's Hospital is seeking an RN Unit Supervisor to join our team. Eligible Nurses will qualify for sign on & relocation bonuses.
This is a Weekend Premium schedule. Team member will primarily work weekend shifts. Fulltime, Day shift (7am - 7pm). During orientation will rotate through all shifts (Days, Mids, and Nights).

Experience: Requires a minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience Strongly prefer candidates with 2 years plus of Pediatric ED RN experience. Charge or Supervisory experience a huge plus Education: BSN or Associate Degree RNs that are within one year of completing their BSN Completion of revised Charge Nurse Workshop within the first 90 days of employment License: Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN. Certification: BLS from American Heart Association required upon start Specialty certification (as required by unit) within 1 year of hire. Strongly prefer current ACLS and PALS Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exhibits leadership ability that fosters teamwork and retention. Demonstrates professionalism and ability to remain calm and lead in dynamic and busy situations. Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office and healthcare software required. Strong problem-solving capabilities and prioritization; can serve as a resource and mentor to other clinical staff on the unit.
