POSITION PURPOSE / SUMMARY STATEMENT (defines the major functions/purpose of the position):

The DC Systems Analyst is responsible for ASICS’ WMS/WCS front end and back end including designing, implementing and supporting ASICS WMS/WCS systems. The incumbent will support WMS configuration, data extractions and will utilize analysis techniques to determine WMS/WCS system functional specifications required by the end users.  In addition, the DCSA will design, develop, document, test and modify both WMS/WCS based on user or WMS/WCS design specifications; consult with business owners in an effort to identify gaps and then modify the WMS system to support those requirements configuration, mod spec design, or user training; troubleshoot systems issues related to WMS/WCS configuration and performance. This position sits in Byhalia, MS.

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Interacts with all levels throughout organization including employees and outside vendors

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing functional support for the Warehouse Control System (WCS) and Warehouse Management System(WMS) , both Inbound & Outbound, including Labor Management, Slotting and Reporting Troubleshooting and resolving production problems WMS/WCS and data accuracy, owning resolution of problems pertaining to WM/WCS design and documenting system problems and resolutions for future reference Developing requirements and modifications and code changes within WMS/WCS to support changes in operational processes.  Working with the Service Desk group to continuously reduce the number of support issues and improve internal customer satisfaction Offering improvement suggestions for increased efficiency through WMS knowledge, introducing new solutions to improve productivity of internal customers and recommending options to the business in consideration of existing needs and constraints along with future requirements and goals Researching, analyzing and evaluating present or proposed business procedures or problems to define the best WMS and / or WCS system solutions Analyzing project proposals to identify potential problem areas and recommend optimum approaches for project path.  Creating and updating test cases, conduct testing and assist user with testing scenarios.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent combination of training and experience 4+ years of work experience in a technical support role within a distribution center Proficiency with Manhattan’s WMS required Familiarity with SAP(FMS), preferred. Proficiency with a warehouse controls system, preferred Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Experience with Microsoft 365 Applications such as Teams, One Drive, preferred
