Job Description

We are looking for a high-energy, customer-focused WMS Manager to join our IT team at our 1,000,000-square-foot distribution campus (DC) in Garland, Utah. The WMS Manager will be the primary on-site support for key DC applications and technologies. Responsibilities include providing ongoing on-site WMS, WCS and general systems support to ensure our systems are stable, reliable and effectively supporting operational needs. In addition, the WMS Manager will partner with other on-site resources to ensure effective IT service is provided to DC users and identify changes and opportunities that support a culture of continuous improvement. This position requires training in Garland, Utah at our distribution center. 

A day at Lakeshore looks like this: 

Providing technical support to DC management and end users Facilitating timely problem/issue identification, communication/escalation, troubleshooting and resolution  Performing system monitoring and maintenance activities to ensure system health, performance and data integrity Developing and maintaining system dashboards, reports and queries to support evolving business processes Administering users/devices and maintain system security and user profiles  Assisting with identification of system and process improvements Gathering business requirements and document use cases for large system changes Collaborating with central IT development and support teams to effectively develop and test WMS enhancements, integration changes and system upgrades Collaborating with other on-site IT infrastructure support resources as needed 

Qualifications

Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for: 

Prior warehouse, distribution center or manufacturing application support experience (HighJump WMS and/or Pyramid WES administration experience a plus) SQL knowledge and advanced technical troubleshooting skills Experience with distribution center processes, technologies and integrations (RF devices, telnet, conveyor systems, barcode printing, shipping systems, etc.) Experience with or knowledgeable of distribution robotics – AGVs/AMRs/GTP Highly motivated self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and to effectively organize and prioritize workload within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment   Possesses excellent attention to detail, operates with sense of urgency and has strong problem-solving skills Understanding of systems development life cycle (SDLC)
