Summary of Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
The Supervisor of Women's Imaging Center manages and coordinates the daily operations of all assigned sites. This will include 3 Women's OP Imaging Centers that provide mammography, US breast and general scans, along with DEXA. They will oversee imaging services in a manner that optimizes patient, associate, and physician experience. Must have years of experience in women's imaging, preferably a lead mammographer They will maintain a productive work environment and will meet professional, regulatory, and accreditation standards. The Supervisor also collaborates effectively with imaging personnel, inter-disciplinary departments, facility leadership, Manager of Imaging, Director of Imaging, and Medical Director of Imaging.
Essential Job Functions
Licensing/Certification
Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography), or NMTC (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) (required)
State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed)
BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care) (required)
Education
Associates, (required) ARRT, Mammo, or US
Work Experience
4 years' experience in clinical environment (required)
Advanced Imaging Technologies (preferred)
Training
EPIC Electronic Health Record (preferred)
