4 Year Degree This position reports to the Associate Athletics Director for Development and will be responsible to develop, direct, and manage a women's soccer program competing in the NCAA, Division I. The Head Coach is responsible for all program components including, but not limited to, planning, organizing, recruiting, budgeting, and scheduling. In addition, the duties include fundraising, developing camps and clinics, assisting in the promotion of the athletic program and the University, and other responsibilities as assigned.
A bachelor’s degree required, master's degree preferred. Also required is a successful record of coaching women's soccer, preferably on the intercollegiate level; working knowledge and commitment to following NCAA rules; demonstrated success in recruiting players capable of succeeding academically, athletically and socially; and proven ability to establish positive. And effective working relationships with student-athletes, administrators, faculty, staff and the University community. Experience as an Assistant or Head Coach at the Division 1 level and experience in fundraising and public relations is desirable.
