**Job Description Summary** BD is seeking a strategic and driven Women's Health and Cancer Business Development Manager to join our UK & Ireland IDS commercial team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your strategic development and market access selling expertise to engage senior stakeholders and co-create impactful solutions that drive efficiency, performance improvement, and patient safety within pathology services and screening programmes across the UK & Ireland. This is a highly visible role that will require you to work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and medical affairs, to drive commercial success for our BD Cor solutions in the women's health and cancer space. Become a **maker of possible** with us! **Our vision for** **Integrated Diagnostic Solutions** **at BD** By aligning and simplifying our work, our Integrated Diagnostic Solutions (IDS) business unit aims to drive growth and innovation around everything from integrated specimen management to diagnostic solutions. **Position Overview** The Women's Health and Cancer Business Development Manager is a strategic commercial role within the UK & Ireland IDS commercial team. This role is responsible for developing, shaping, and progressing a pipeline of high-value, complex opportunities across UK & Ireland pathology and screening services to successful closure. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead commercial projects for strategic positioning and opportunity development for BD Cor solutions within the UK & Ireland. + Collaborate with marketing and medical affairs functions for strategic commercial development. + Accountable for BD Cor sales figures across UK & Ireland within the Women’s Health and Cancer (WHC)/national screening programmes (HPV) area, including capital and consumable sales. + Provide strategic commercial input to the IDS UK Leadership Team and EMEA regional marketing teams regarding the WHC/HPV market. + Manage senior national screening committee stakeholders and develop relationships for targeted opportunities. + Operate within the defined Customer Engagement Model and use BD’s tools and systems as required. **Key Focus Areas:** + Positioning BD as the partner of choice in the Women’s Health and Cancer (WHC) arena and national screening programmes (HPV). + Acting as a national lead for molecular solutions growth, supporting the broader IDS UK & Ireland commercial teams. + Developing and leveraging public policy guidance to position BD for national screening programmes and strategic providers requiring high throughput molecular testing solutions. + Supporting cytology services and pathway redesign across the end-to-end diagnostic pathway from sample collection to result reporting. + Creating a vision of the end-to-end diagnostic pathway and outlining the impact on patient care and service performance. **About you** + Degree qualified, preferably with a Microbiology/Molecular background + Previous experience working with high level, strategic customer stakeholders + Previous experience of strategic partnering and national screening programmes would be an advantage + Significant capital sales experience within the diagnostic market and proven success with a solutions selling approach + Experience of NHS procurement methods and routes to market, including Managed Service Contracts. + A good understanding of Pathology specimen workflows is desirable, a Microbiology background would be a significant advantage. + Improving patient pathways within the NHS and healthcare systems. + Senior level stakeholder development with the NHS to drive positive change. **Click on apply if this sounds like you!** Becton, Dickinson and Company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
