Wood Flow Manager

Weyerhaeuser is searching for a Wood Flow Manager to join our Southern Timberlands team in Thomasville, AL The position is responsible for the Thomasville area and reports to the Thomasville Area Manager, and will require limited travel for meetings (~20%).

Key Functions

As Wood Flow Manager, you will be responsible for working directly with the Area Managers and the Harvest Managers in the Thomasville Area. This requires day-to-day communication with Harvest Managers and the Marketing Manager, clear communication of wood flow plans, and self-development as a leader. In addition, the role has responsibility to:

Contribute to execution of the Region Road Map strategiesSchedule and coordinate the annual harvest to meet customer commitments and execute the annual plan maximizing annual marginEnsure harvest is in compliance with the Master Service AgreementManage and develop a team of Harvest ManagersMonitor and communicate critical pace metrics by contractor, Harvest Manager and customer to ensure the right logs go to the right place at the right timeMaintain a rolling harvest schedule for every contractor to meet customer commitments and monitor/manage contractor capacityEnsure key stands are identified and manage wood flow to ensure 3rd party market commitments and local Wood Supply AgreementsSupport Geographic Managers in the execution of the plan by working with Harvest Managers to give daily instructionUnderstand and promote the transportation dispatch implementation and efficiencies

What We Offer

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $94,977 - $142,465 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 10%of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

We offer a pre-tax Health Savings Account option which includes a company contribution. Other benefit options are also available such as voluntary Long-Term Care and Employee Assistance Programs. Retirement: Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.

Paid Time Off or Vacation:We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours
