Job Summary:

This position is responsible for direct leadership of factory hourly employees and productivity. Effectively balance quality and productivity while maintaining a safe workplace.

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

Delivers effective/interactive communications and activities to support positive morale.Track team efficiencies for improvement ensuring production demands are met.Ability to work with the team to develop better techniques to achieve enhanced efficiencies and quality performance.Delivers on-the-job training and tracks competencies and skills as needed.Provide the leadership to develop and maintain a safe workplace.Enforces quality standards; ensures product meets specifications.Oversee and ensure an efficient and cost-effective flow of product through the production system.Ensures compliance with standard operational work practices, including E1 requirements to maintain accurate inventory levels.Maintain 5S processes.Proficient at problem solving and able to resolve conflict in a healthy manner.Accurately perform Workday / Kronos time administration, including accurate timecards when needed.Maintain an informative report out board with status information.Maintain excellent attendance and professional leadership for employees.

SCOPE & IMPACT: 

This role is responsible for supporting and coordinating all production operations within assigned area(s). This position supports hourly employees to effectively and efficiently perform the functions of their jobs to increase production. Success is based on meeting the daily production schedule, and continuously improving safety, quality, and employee morale.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or GED with 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent.1-3 years of supervisory/leadership experienceProficient in Enterprise One (E1) or other material management systemsProficient in BDS systems where applicableProficient in Microsoft OfficeProficient in Microsoft ExcelPrior manufacturing experienceExcellent attendanceTravel Required:  up to 5%

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: 

Associate’s / bachelor's degreeCertificate in Lean Manufacturing4-6 years of supervisory/leadership experience

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: up to 60 direct reports
