Job Description/ResponsibilitiesThe Woodcraft Associate role will be responsible for producing, designing, crafting, and testing wood products such made of used barrel staves such as customize barrel heads, cigar trays, and furniture using specialized tools. This role will be based at BTD to increase handcrafted products to sell.
The Woodcraft Associate role will be responsible for crafting handmade products utilizing Buffalo Trace Distillery barrel staves. Woodcraft associates will be actively monitored on production quality, quantity, and consumer engagement. The top skill necessary for the Woodcraft Associate role will be developing world class customer service attitude to build Buffalo Trace Distillery into one of the most desired places to be.The Woodcraft Associate role will be responsible for continuous feedback on how to improve processes, products, and quality control methods in Whiskey Woodcraft.The Woodcraft Associate Role will be responsible for producing new and unique items for the Buffalo Trace Distillery Gift Shop to delight consumers and increase overall profitability at BTD.The Woodcraft Associate role will be responsible for hitting established KPIs on quantity, quality, and profitability.The Woodcraft Associate Role will be responsible for efficient production methods to complete the aligned upon KPIs of Whiskey WoodcraftThe Woodcraft Associate Role will be responsible for engaging with customers at BTD and acting as an ambassador for the distillery in displaying the processes of Whiskey Woodcraft.The Woodcraft Associate will be responsible for crafting production reports and will work alongside the director of Whiskey Woodcraft and barrel warehouse team to best sort.The Woodcraft Associate role will be responsible for engaging with customers on new tour routes and being apart of the overall experience at BTDThe Woodcraft Associate role will be engaged in activities supporting BTD becoming an exceptional homeplace via tour engagement and overall efficiency.
