**Job Title: Woodworker** **Job Description** This position requires carpentry expertise, preferably in exhibit, trade show, retail display, and/or commercial millwork. The candidate should possess skilled carpentry techniques using saws, routers, pneumatic nail & staple guns, gluing and lamination, as well as various power and hand-held tools. The candidate needs to be proficient in working with plans and fabrication drawings with a range of materials (including plywood, MDF, laminate, and acrylic) on multiple types of equipment (including table saw, router, etc.). The ability to work efficiently to meet project standards and deadlines is essential. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret work orders from the supervisor. + Work with materials such as wood, plastic, metal, plywood, MDF, laminate, acrylic, etc. + Utilize chisels, planes, saws, drills, routers, and sanders. + Perform laminating tasks. + Maintain a clean work area, tools, and equipment. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in working with hand and power tools. + Experience in construction or use of hand tools and power tools. + Ability to lift 50 pounds. + Excellent attention to detail and quality control to ensure workplace efficiency and performance. + Knowledge and experience with pneumatic nailers and electric power tools. + Flexibility to assist other departments when needed. + Ability to work independently or as part of a team. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in carpentry, cabinetry, or woodworking. + Experience with reading blueprints and fabrication drawings. + Familiarity with materials such as plywood, MDF, laminate, and acrylic. + Proficiency in using tools like saws, routers, planers, chisels, and sanders. **Why Work Here?** Great shop with new equipment and offers flexibility on which days of the week to work. **Work Environment** Clean shop environment with modern equipment.
