Work Control Supervisor (TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance Required)

Supervises the Work Control function. Typically multiple Work Control centers at separate sites. Leads the work scheduling and planning functions as necessary to support effective project execution within a variety of operational environments. Develops an accurate work schedule and utilizes work control methods that support operational effectiveness. Tracks required maintenance cycles, equipment utilization, calibration schedules and coordinates inventory of spare parts and
materials needed to effect maintenance and repairs. Communicates schedule updates with functional
leaders as necessary to obtain information, provide schedule updates and maintain operational effectiveness. Monitors actual performance against plan and evaluates variances; adjusts schedule and operations as necessary, communicates changes and proposed mitigation plans to functional leads and site management. Confirms work status, evaluates execution effectiveness and recommends process improvements. Coordinates work plan with other ongoing site activity, materials and personnel availability, and changing operational priorities; revises work plan and communicates updates as
appropriate. Provides planning, scheduling and control recommendations and support to operational leadership. Leads work teams and initiatives as necessary.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.
The Work Control Supervisor will manage the site’s work control desk. The Work Control Desk (WCD) handles requests for many different services performed by Facilities Operations & Maintenance employees Work Control is responsible for taking calls and online maintenance requests and creating work orders. The WCD dispatches work orders to the maintenance shops, and help answer questions about the timing and status of the work
TYPICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• All requests for routine, non-routine, and emergency services are coordinated through this desk.
• The Work Control Center staff processes all work requests from inception to completion.
• The WCD supervisor will also be responsible for gathering and transmitting all work control and labor metrics.
• The duties may include additional tasks as required from the local Site Manager or Work Control Manager
• This will include, at a minimum, labor hour verification, invoice validation and weekly work and maintenance metrics.
• Data entry to CMMS and Work Order systems
• CMMS infrastructure asset verification
• Other duties as assigned
