WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Work Methods & Development Consultant in Meter to Bill/AMI at our Milwaukee Public Service Building. This position offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement.

Job Summary
The Work Methods & Development Consultant is responsible for consulting with employees at various levels to proactively identify performance support needs and recommend and develop solutions that optimize employee productivity in support of department strategies and goals. This includes performing needs analysis and developing effective employee educational programs and materials utilizing various channels and delivery methods. The Work Methods & Development Consultant is also responsible for anticipating the need for, as well as developing and distributing effective and timely employee communications (e.g. OLE, newsletters, job aids, and intranet web sites) that enhance productivity and integrate business process and system changes into normal operations. In addition, this role participates in quality assurance activities which includes reviewing completed work, providing feedback and enhancements to process/training if needed.
This position is part of a Job Family (Work Methods, and Senior) where experience will be the determining factor in level. If you are currently in this Job Family, it will result in a lateral move.
Job Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
+ Performs instructional design of employee educational programs, eLearning modules, simulations and materials utilizing various channels and delivery methods.
+ Performs needs analyses and creates and implements communication plans to assist with communication and change management for ongoing business operations and major projects within Customer Services.
+ Develops and delivers online and classroom training. Trains others to deliver training. Creates training simulation modules for use in classroom and self-paced learning.
+ Performs ongoing ‘best practice’ assessments to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in communication and education technologies and approaches.
Minimum Experience Required
+ Work Methods Level Require: 2-3 years Operations or relevant experience. In lieu of Operations experience, a degree is required and a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in teaching/training.
+ Senior Level Requires: 5 years Operations experience. In lieu of Operations experience, a degree is required and minimum of 5 years’ experience in teaching/training.
+ Proficient in standard office software (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
+ Strong analysis, decision making and problem solving skills.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
+ Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Working knowledge of OpenC. General understanding of metering, customer rates and billing functions.

Pay Range Minimum: $76,932.70
Pay Range Maximum: $132,708.94
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
