Under direct supervision, primarily provides general administrative support for a project, team, or work unit. Similar to an Office Clerk or Specialist. May also include some basic data entry and report generation.
Function/Duties of PositionSocial Media Management
Create multimedia content such as graphics, photos, and short videos for social media platforms.Assist in writing copy for posts, advertisements, and social media stories that are aligned with the institution’s recruitment goals.Capture and share student experiences, campus life, and event highlights to attract prospective students.Assist in managing the institution’s social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).Create and schedule engaging content (posts, stories, videos, etc.) that reflects the institution’s brand and mission.Monitor social media activity, respond to comments and messages, and engage with prospective students and followers.Help develop a content calendar and contribute to brainstorming sessions for upcoming posts or campaigns.Track and report on social media performance (likes, shares, comments, etc.) and suggest improvements.Required Qualifications An OHSU Undergraduate Program (minimum 6 credit hours)Computer and software experience which includes MS Word, Excel, e-mail, web-site search tools and internet skills Preferred Qualifications General office experienceHigh level of organization and prioritization skillsTeam orientedStrong public relations and customer service skillsAbility to work cooperatively with academic, unclassified management and classified personnelStrong interpersonal skills and communication skillsExperience creating web content Additional Details
