The Opportunity

The work winning Manager’s purpose is to increase the success rate and efficiency in winning rewarding work across the portfolio, in all relevant geographies and service lines.

This role is located in the PSI Portfolio team. The Work Winning Manager will work closely with the Portfolio bidding leadership to design and implement work winning strategy across Opportunity, SMO and Priority Pursuit opportunities, boosting best practice including client engagement, capture, bidding, information and knowledge management, and performance review, insights.

You will work closely with our business / Portfolio leaders, Bid Directors, Bid Managers, and subject matter experts to bring together high-quality bid submissions.

Day-to-day you will work closely with the other PSI Work Winning Lead. Together you will lead the PSI Work Winning Team.

Your line manager will be the Head of Clients & Business Development.

Tasks will be agreed and prioritised for our PSI portfolio, but you will be developed professionally through the wider UKIMEA CMC network, and will have opportunity to support work winning efforts across the region, as required. Mentoring will be provided by work winning colleagues within the team and, more widely, by members of the UKIMEA Client and Business Development (CBD) network.

Is this role right for you?

We are looking for people who:

Have experience of playing a central, strategic role within bidding teams, and of work collaboratively with others under pressure Have private and public procurement practices, and preferably regulations in the Portfolio area.  Understand how to manage a pipeline of Strategic Major Opportunities, subject to rapid change Have sufficient technical and commercial detail to be able to recognise the key risks and opportunities involve in each pursuit or bid.
