Kforce has a client in Los Angeles, CA that is seeking a Workday Analyst responsible for handling high-volume multi-state payroll, billing, licensing, AP, etc. The Workday Analyst will have a strong knowledge of California labor and wage laws, federal and state payroll regulations and requirements. Responsibilities: * Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages * Assist with the performance of payroll staff processing payroll * Maintaining employee confidence and protecting payroll operations by keeping information confidential * Preparing reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages * Determining payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income and social security taxes and employer social security, unemployment, and worker compensation payments * Understand and report necessary changes to payroll operations by maintaining established policies and procedures * Track payroll record changes by entering updates in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers * Reviewing and verifying source documents * Provide assistance as necessary for all internal and external audits related to payroll
