Key job responsibilities Workday Integration Development: Design, develop, and maintain inbound/outbound integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, and Web Services. Create and maintain documentation for integration processes and configurations. Troubleshoot integration issues and implement solutions. Monitor integration performance and implement optimizations. Workday Extend Development: Develop custom applications using Workday Extend framework. Create and maintain custom business processes and workflows. Implement custom reports and dashboards. Design and develop user interfaces following Workday standards. Security Administration: Configure and maintain security access controls and domain security policies. Manage security groups, roles, and permission sets. Perform security audits and compliance reviews. Implement security best practices and maintain documentation. Workday Prism Analytics: Design and develop data pipelines for analytics. Create custom datasets and reports using Prism Analytics. Optimize data models for performance. Implement data governance standards. Technical Leadership: Mentor junior team members Participate in technical design reviews Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders Provide technical expertise in project planning A day in the life As a Workday App Engineer II, your typical day might include: Morning standup with the team to discuss ongoing projects and priorities. Developing and testing integrations between Workday and third-party systems. Collaborating with business analysts to refine requirements for a new Workday Extend application. Troubleshooting integration issues reported by end users. Reviewing and implementing security role changes. Building data pipelines in Workday Prism Analytics. Mentoring junior team members on integration best practices. Participating in design review sessions for upcoming projects. Documenting technical specifications and maintaining integration documentation. Monitoring integration performance and implementing optimizations. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience. 3+ years of Workday implementations, integrations, or development. Experience with XML, XSLT, and web services technologies. Demonstrated experience in integration development and testing. Experience with security administration in enterprise applications. Preferred Qualifications Workday Certified Integration Professional certification. Experience with Workday Studio and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB). Knowledge of Workday Extend (previously Workday Cloud Platform). Experience with Workday Prism Analytics. Previous experience in retail or food service industry. Experience with Agile methodology.
